All these forms or types of education provide a scope of knowledge in a specified field that informs and guides the learner to practice in a particular field either as a work, profession or a job.
Formal education happens to be the type of education that I would say leads all the other categories if my thoughts serve me right. Every single country in the world I believe trains her citizens formally for different purposes. However, we can say that some people who tend to have some knowledge about education no matter the type or kind might have misconstrued the main rationale for education. Why is education needed?

Good grades are good but this is much appreciated when it is the true representation of what the learner knows. I remember a true story I was told about a man who was very brilliant in school but after some years, he couldn't make anything proper thing out of it. He survived by working as a laborer for others to earn. Wisdom on the side of the educated will inform him about the choices to make to succeed and not just the excellent grades in the paper.
2. Qualifications or certifications show one's worth
A misconception that has killed dreams and visions is the belief that plenty of degrees, certifications, qualifications determine the financial state or kind of life a person lives. This at times propels some to chase qualifications all through but eventually the expectation might not even be met.
