Red ants surround a breadcrumb as they gather it for storage Humans, as we are, must be attentive and observant since a lot of things going on around us and some even go unnoticed. I was eating and a cat came around so I gave it a bite of bread but it left it and went away. Within some minutes, from nowhere red ants started coming one by one. What got me thinking was how they knew about the presence of the bread on the floor.    Is it that the ants are fortunate? Comparing the height of ants to that of the bread is a huge difference, but they manage to climb it. Gradually, the size of the breadcrumb started to reduce as the presence of the ants increased because they were coming in troops with no end. Social insects are so amazing that little by little they were taking the bread into their dwelling.
