The numerals in the Ewe language are not far away from how it is in English. Right from the early stages of a child's education, they are taught very well numbers or numerals and alphabets. The numerals are written the same way as they are in English except for the words that differ. For instance, 0 is still 0 but the words, zero is 'nanekeo'. ORDINALITY OF THE NUMBERS In this language, a number is made ordinal by the addition of the prefix "lia" . E.g) second (2nd) , The number two is 'eve' and making it ordinal becomes 'evelia' but first has an exception which is 'gbanto'.  Let's look at the numbers written in Ewe.
