The experience when your house and property gets captured by flood - Agbozume Flood

An area in Agbozume which is also affected by the flood. Canoe is now the mode of crossing to the other side It was like over a decade ago when something like this was experienced in the township of Agbozume in the Volta Region of Ghana of which many places got flooded. The experiences were diverse though properties were carried away by the floods and houses, schools were flooded, tilapia and catfish came close to the people and catching them for meals was just a cool chop. This is just by the way because the adverse effects of the phenomenon far outweigh something like catching fish. Nonetheless, it remains an unforgettable experience for those who witnessed it.   In this current incident which has occurred due to heavy rains in the region this year 2023, many continue to lament because of the losses and how hard it has become to even go to work and put food on the table.
