     Jonny was only five years old when he lost his father Agbeli Dzidepo. The mother’s name is Asinyo Esinam, a woman of value but unfortunately financially handicapped. In a village in which the sole belief of the entire populace was idol worship, they devoted their time, resources and every other precious possession to the worship of their idols. The people in this village vehemently trusted in the capability of their gods to do whatever request they make. In view of this belief, traders, fishermen, weavers, craftsmen and farmers vow to the gods to receive answers to their needs and once they received the results, the vows were not left unredeemed. In the village were fetish priests of the gods in different locations that the people deemed very powerful and occasionally went to them for solutions to their daily struggles. Not so long afterwards came a missionary who arrived from an urban area but was a native of this village that is full of wickedness and idolatrous or traditional activities.
