Compress videos easily on TECNO POP 6 PRO

 With the influx of information transfer all over the internet, it is good to send files of reasonable sizes to save internet bundle or data. It also aids fast transfer of these file to anyone across the internet. To do this, files like videos would need to be compressed. For me anytime there is the need to compress videos before uploading unto the internet, my first option was to search online for a video compressor. Now that I discovered a simple way to do this on TECNO POP 6 PRO, I don't worry about compressing my videos any longer since I now have a simpler and option at a 0% cost.

Compress videos on Tecno Pop 6 Pro

All you must pray for is that this pre-installed app called 'Phone master' is installed on the phone and the compressing feature also active. Phone master is one of he pre-installed applications on the phone that helps manage files and even softwares on the phone.

Interface of Phone Master application. This is the interface when the toolbox tab at the bottom is clicked, this shows the video compression tool at the first division.

Open phone master on the phone and click tool box at the bottom. Once this is done, select the video to compress and the process begins right away. From the image below, the first video of 114MB is selected for compression.

 The application asks to keep the original video for 7 days, if YES is selected, the original video is kept within the application for 7 days. This helps to access the original if there should be the need at any point in time within the duration provided by the software.

This image shows the new file size of 34.54MB after compression has been done. That is 30.3% file size reduction.

After video compression finishes, the reduces video in size automatically replaces the old one in your file manager. No download or whatsoever is needed.

Is internet needed to compress the files?

No internet is needed. Everything is offline and free.
