Some time ago, as I was viewing some posts on one social media platform, I came across a post that wanted readers to mention some towns in the Volta Region of Ghana that start with the letter "A". It created the impression that people want to know of the various towns we have in the Volta Region and probably some history behind how the town was created and how the name came about. Awalavi: This is a town whose name is popular in the region because rice is planted there and sold to neighboring towns.
