Johnny Broke The Siege. Story with an all lifetime lesson

Image
Jonny was only five years old when he lost his father Agbeli Dzidepo. The mother’s name is Asinyo Esinam, a woman of value but unfortunately financially handicapped. Even before Mrs Esi lost her husband, life has not been easy for this household even though her husband was a teacher in Living Academy Preparatory School. Johnny was a handsome and a respectful boy who took exactly after his father’s good moral. His parents were very particular about his moral upbringing and his growth academically. Unlike children who turn out to be a disappointment even when their parents work tirelessly for their upkeep, his attitude was different. At home, he is the type that would run errands for the mother and made sure he reads his notes after and before school. Johnny learnt a very common saying one day which gingers him to aspire higher even as a child. “Reading makes the man“ and “Practice makes man perfect.“ He never went a day without saying this after his morning devotion with the mother

He shared his own personal story through a short movie he acted by himself purposely to tell his story better and went ahead to share his experience as someone who went through really tough times after school and through his encounter with Empower Young Lives Africa (EYLA), he learnt a lot and challenged himself to explore the world of forex trading which has given him financial freedom. According to Mr. Eugene, he has an academy that trains the youth especially to acquire a job right after completion and has since trained 25million people and and is still training more. More than 10 people from the event were granted a scholarship or support by him to study from his academy which the awardees appreciated a lot.
One participant asked to understand the kind of code he meant must be broken. He responded that the code is not referring to a Mathematical algorithm but the natural way and thinking of the mass which does not yield any different change or improvement of any sort. It was a moment of motivation and mind driving journey interaction with the business man.
  • Apostle Joe Addai Kusi
In fact, Apostle Joe Addai emphasized on the need to master ones craft and also the art of reading and writing as very essential skills for every successful person. He talked about how highly the Jewish people value knowledge by taking the entire participants through some data and virtual tour of monumental structures and figures all around the world to shake the mind of the audience about the need to be eager to learn and have knowledge cutting across all sphere. He iterated the essence of reading not just in ones field of study but having an open-minded reading habit to broaden a person's view of how world systems run or work.

Another fascinating thing about his talk was about networking which he mentioned might not be effective in certain instances where the other side has a level of knowledge that unmatches the other person. The audience were amazed about his strict reading and writing culture that he's structured and also how he is able to create an inventory of knowledge. He encouraged everyone to have a knowledge inventory as well and according to him, reading extensively in ones field of expertise as well as an all-round reading habit broadens a person's scope and help to build capacity thereby rendering a person very resourceful and valuable to others.
  • Mr. Oswald W Anonagada

One of the speakers everyone was waiting to hear speak as he is one of Ghana's successful business moguls contributing significantly to her economy and beyond. Talk about his lines of companies known as McDan Group of Companies that deals in logistics and a whole lot more.

Key things he spoke about makes a successful business person:
  1. God factor
  2. Attitude
  3. Discipline
When asked how he got his first capital, he answered that was a tough question but then it was from a customer he rendered service to and from there the money was invested into the business and gradually progress was made. Obviously, history of success is not without challenges as he recounted the times he did some menial works just to keep up thigs going and even at some point lost business properties and all but needed to bounce back failure is part of the journey but shouldn't be a determiner of failure. He made a profound statement, "You do not expect to get what you do not inspect".
  • Wodemaya

One of Ghana's own who has also made Ghana very proud as he always put the country and Africa at large on the global stage to be appreciated by all. A top notch Youtuber who is known for his dedication for what he does. However, he didn't leave out his humble beginning of the start where as a graduate of Aviation Engineering from China, he had to come and start his venture of adventure in Ghana. He narrated it was a very tough decision which was not appreciated by the father initially but now the results are there to prove and the reason why he advised the audience to be honest and not give up when results are not visible from the start of anything they do.
