An area in Agbozume which is also affected by the flood. Canoe is now the mode of crossing to the other side
It was like over a decade ago when something like this was experienced in the township of Agbozume in the Volta Region of Ghana of which many places got flooded. The experiences were diverse though properties were carried away by the floods and houses, schools were flooded, tilapia and catfish came close to the people and catching them for meals was just a cool chop. This is just by the way because the adverse effects of the phenomenon far outweigh something like catching fish. Nonetheless, it remains an unforgettable experience for those who witnessed it.
In this current incident which has occurred due to heavy rains in the region this year 2023, many continue to lament because of the losses and how hard it has become to even go to work and put food on the table. In some pictures that surfaced on Facebook, some schools were shown flooded and the level of the water is a bit high in some places with the water level even above the knee. Many parts of the town have been flooded and now canoe has to be used at some of these places to help people cross to wherever they might want to go.
Humans definitely have no control over natural disasters but could their activities also count?
Actually, the weather pattern this year has changed and it rains almost every day but not at all times heavy downpours.
What's the experience like?
Well, listening to what people had to say about this situation, it is sad though but well, they are managing and hoping that as time goes on it will be fine. This town is a one specially known for wonderful and quality kente cloths but amidst this situation where even looms remain captured in the flood, it appears some of the weavers affected won't be able to weave and sell to earn. Kente cloths too are such that even if the loom is not affected by the flood, once it starts to rain everything has to be packed in order for the entire materials not to be destroyed. Now the people have to do everything in the water. In a video, cement blocks were put in the water before a coal pot was placed to be able to cook. Going to the market has also become very challenging as one has to walk through the water or be charged a high fare for a motor ride.
However, everyone is hoping and praying that the situation will become better to make easy for activities to go on normal. But amidst this, how are the pupils coping with studies? The hope is that they will be well guided at home to learn on their own so even if they might not meet as it were without the flood and they will definitely not be left behind.

Attributes of God as many know it refers to the titles given to God because of who He is and what He does. These attributes are special attributions and they are unique in the making as they differ from one language to the other. When I was younger, I loved to play games on smartphones that were for friends because it was just a nice thing to do but interestingly when I got my own phone, this wasn't the case any longer. I decided not to play games with my phone because of some reasons I heard from friends. Some of these are: It weakens the battery It causes the smartphone to freeze. However, playing games is something that can relieve stress, offer entertainment and also engage the mind in some activity especially if it is an action game. People say children who play very mind-challenging games get to improve their intelligence and it is very true. One of these games is chess which involves calculation and elsewhere it is like a subject that is taught due to its mental impact on the players. In fact, months after buying Tecno Pop 6 pro, I didn't even open the AHA games app because I didn't want to use my phone for games and that was it. One day I opened the app and explored the interface and then ...
