Two (2) tablespoons of banana flour
Banana essence (optional)
Milk
Water
Salt
Sugar or honey
Preparing the porridge
Add water to the banana flour and mix thoroughly to ensure there are no lumps. Mixing well to achieve a fine texture gives you a lump-free porridge. Add the banana flavored essence or any other essence desired to the mixture. In case you love spices, you can add in little amounts to the mixture.
For those who love dates, you can add it to the mixture.
Now, boil about one and half (1 1/2) to two(2) cups of water and pour in the mixture. Stir as you pour in the mixture and continue stirring for some time, this avoids the formation of lumps as the porridge boils. After thorough mixing, the porridge can now be allowed to boil about 5 minutes and then taken off the heat.

Serving the banana flour porridge
Pour the porridge in a bowl or cup and add sugar or honey. Add milk if you want and stir properly.
