In the Ghanaian community and bringing it down to the Ewes, names are specifically given for different reasons. The main reason why names among this tribe are never taken for granted is that the names normally have a direct impact on the bearers. Travel from Kumasi to Agbozume in grand move

Have you ever wondered the best time to travel from certain locations and tried getting some reliable guide from online?
Well, you have not been in that situation alone, we all go through those situations sometimes in our dealings. This is what necessitated an interesting writing to share  an amazing story of travel experience from Agbozume to Kumasi and from Kumasi to Agbozume.

Like you might have checked from the map, Kumasi is the capital of the Ashanti Region of Ghana whilst Agbozume is a town in the Volta Region close to Denu and Aflao. It is specifically in the Ketu South District of the region.

Traveling from Agbozume to Kumasi

Safety of transportation is always the topmost priority for traveling. The reason why we do not prefer using smaller cars for very long distances. Well, our major location for commercial buses from Agbozume to Kumasi is at Aflao VIP station. This means that one moving from Agbozume would have to take a car to Aflao VIP station before onboarding a car over there. Over there buses are ready to onboard passengers journeying to Kumasi as well as the adjoining towns along that route.

Now comes the question. When should I set off ?
You definitely do not want the buses to leave you behind right? The vehicles normally move quite late evening since they would have to wait and load the vehicle to full before departure. This is even situation dependent, if passengers are there to full bus capacity, departure time defers. Therefore the major determinant of when the vehicles move is availability of passengers.

My tip and token for you will be, try to be on time and if possible make some enquiries right from the station if you can.

How long is the distance
Normally from Agbozume to Kumasi takes about 9 hours at most. Applies mostly to bigger vehicles but can be lesser.

Moving from Kumasi to Agbozume

The main bus station for boarding buses to Accra, Agbozume and a few other locations is Asafo-Kumasi.
You get here mostly in the evening and you will get a bus to move to Agbozume.

Hope even these few tips help someone navigate smoothly from either Agbozume to Kumasi or vice versa.
